Here is one of three that I own. This is my pride and joy of my hardtail fleet. Bontrager built, Bontrager fork crown, Suntour thumbies!! This one doesn't get out on the trails much anymore. I just picked up a Gary Fisher Paragon 29er with disc brakes. It's my first bike with discs.

She's as fast as she looks, have a 2.4 Racing Ralph up front and a 2.0 Racing Ralph on the rear. Talk about easy rolling, sheesh.

^^^^^^^^^^ Is the rear caliper mounted between the chainstays and the seat stays?

It is. I had to fabricate the aluminum bracket to put it there. The direction of the cable pull didn't allow it to fit anywhere else that wasn't a hazard.
