This is my first 'real' bike! Got two years ago. Great starter bike for sure. I take it out pretty much every weekend from Big Bear to San Diego. I saw a couple other Kona HTs on here... nice!

    My hardtail

Here's my hardtail, GF Superfly, XX group, Juicy Ultimates, and 1.8 tires. I live in London now, and there are no trails, no races, just flatness for miles... What a waste of a nice bike.

Ok I have a question , hopefully nobody laughs. I just got a Gary Fisher RiG SS 29er hardtail. Its my first single speed. Here it goes , is taking off the rear tire & wheel the same as a geared bike? I have a quick release on the rear but how do I get the play on the chain like a geared bike chain to pull the wheel off ?? I haven't tried it yet and was just wondering , since i know that many of you know. Please let me know.

    thanks

    Ritchey Niti

I dont ride the Richey Niti as much as my dual suspension bikes these days, but still do enjoy riding on a single track on this thing.
