To the group of gentlemen that stopped to help me today (Thank You!). Mostly Philipino gentlemen and the one who helped was a nurse. It was so nice to have you there. Also, thank you for checking on my bike. I am sorry you couldn't get me to sit down. I am not sure what I was thinking.:?: Maybe I wasn't thinking.
The two gentlemen at the tracks that offered me help (thank you). As I said to you I was waiting on a my buddy Dean (Takman) to get to me. Takman, thanks for driving me to urgent care.
PS. I was the woman on the black Ironhorse.
Being that Julia12 is in Big Bear -- I decided to ride fully. I'd met this girl Dawn (TA) and she invited me to ride with her group. I was late and proud to say they hammered and I caught up. They would lose me because they were much faster of course. I'd still get glimpses of them. Saw them again at the end of cardiac hill. Then lost them again and as I had a little too much speed on the dowhill before Euclid. Hit a bump and when I landed went over the bars (I think). Bike landed on the side and I landed on my head. My helmet saved me but also gave me a big purple line accross my forehead. The blackeye, scrapes and bruises will go away. I am sure tomorrow will even be more fun.
The doc thinks I'll make it through this one. He did say you really eat it this time.
Dean (takman) thanks for putting up with me on the ride to the cars. This was a good example of how a woman can change her mind in 2 seconds. I'd tell Dean I am walking due to dizziness and blurred vision, then jump on the bike and ride.
The hikers and Joggers faces when they saw me (priceless).
Well I have quite a story to tell Julia12 when she comes home today.
Can you tell me about how you felt after hitting your head? My forehead is really quite sore.
