you too...btw...I ended up going down and back up Rattlesnake...and came across at rattler...a bit of a pause..some poorly thrown dirt in the direction..and off to safety we both went...It is odd when I ride solo...I guess this encounter is a reminder about that...happy trails!

Sad to report that my nephew's latest MRI on his 6 month check up shows his tumor growing back. They put the port back in this week and he's back on chemo for another 12-18 months. Sigh... :(

I have some wonderful news! My nephew is having his port taken out! The first thing he wants is a skateboard (& the gear). LOL He lives in Raleigh, NC, so I'm going to suggest to my sister getting him a mountain bike too :D Beautiful places to ride there.

Just wanted to say thanks for the children's cancer support. My 10 year old nephew has a brain tumor and has been undergoing chemo for 2 years. (My sister lives in North Carolina and he is being treated at Duke Medical Center, so he is one lucky kid in that respect). If there are ever any local biking events for the cause, please let me know.

Thanks. I'm still in quite a bit of pain and using quite a bit of percocet, but it is getting better.
