Snow Summit Opening Easter weekend !!!

Not a fan of that name.. they had some much better entries I saw including even one from my son that was much better.. not sure how they settled on that one..

Oh crap.... I would have preferred Samurai Monkey Flying Ninja Pizza Karate Dog over "Party Wave." I cannot (and really do not want to) hear myself saying, "let's do Party Wave this run."

Aaaaarggggghhhhh....

I think to those of us who spent time on Cruiser last season, it will continue to be Cruiser.. I refuse to call it Party Wave.. I was kinda hoping they would see some kind of Facebook and/or web based revolt and change it to something a bit better..

Right with ya

Oh yeah !! Room is reserved at the honey bear lodge.. I'll be riding the mountain all weekend !!!

I got my pass coming and I can't wait to hit the Party Wave!!!

I even got a free tank top when I ordered my pass, pure awesomeness I tell ya!!

Just bought my season pass, just because it's going to be a long season :)

Does Big Bear have the same beginner options from top to bottom that Mammoth offers? Wan't to take my wife but can't tell from the maps if she would just be walking. SHe can handle Mammoth from the top of the gondola going down the back side and around (can't remember the trail names)

The new green trail is estimated to be completed by july 4th, Which should be well suited for beginners. Summit has about 2.75 trails. Cruiser which is fast flow and jumps. The westridge, this is more pedally, has a few pavered berms, some jumps, and a few shoots with pavers. Miracle mile, the more technical of the 3 has some rockgardens, a step up, a couple jumps, and good berms. All of which shouldn't be considered beginner trails more like intermediate trails. I would consider them to be the equivalent of something like shotgun at mammoth minus the wallride and the giant log roller.
