Hi, Thanks for your post. I have been suffering from a painfully inflamed foot and ankel for about a week. This is something that happens from time to time and has been happening for years. These bouts usually come and go fairly quickly, however, this time it has lasted over a week. I went to urgent care for the problem and they could not figure out what is going on. They ran some blood work and I am scheduled to follow up with my doctor next week. Anyways, your post made me do some research on gout and my symptoms are very similar. I now have something to go on when I discuss this with my Dr. The urgent care doc thought the condition could be some kind of arthritic condition but did not mention gout. Thanks, Tim
