King of Kooks
Hey now, everybody. I'm Dave, a mountain biking, surfing, sheet metal working ex-tattoo artist (go figure). I've been mountain biking off and on since '95. And a dedicated single speeder since '98 (until next week or so).
My bikes are a '97 Santa Cruz Chameleon single speed w/ an old set of Marzocchi Z2's that having been rebuilt countless times, a mid-70's-ish Takara single speed road bike, a Frankenstein 1960 Rollfast beach cruiser, and another unknown make, somewhat modified "bat cruiser".
And I'm planning on picking up a Chumba Evo by next week. It'll be wierd having gears and some boing in the back after having neither for so long.
So, here I am. It's been a blast reading you folks posts over the last few weeks, and now I'm feeling comfortable enough to post.
