For the book readers on STR, what are you reading?

Loove the Dark Tower books. Though I haven't finished the last 2 in the series yet(I already have the books so I can't take them off your hands).

For those interested in business I would highly recommend "Losing my Virginity" by Richard Branson. It's a great book and about more than just business, but I can see how it would be dry for some people.:read:

I would recommend giving them to your local library. Most librarys will resale them and with budget cuts they could use a helping hand. The library I go to has used book section, paperbacks .50 ea or 3 /1.00, hardbacks 1.00.
 
At the moment, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, by Michael Chabon.

Before that, it was The Sea, The Sea buy Iris Murdoch. One of those books that reaffirms my belief that real books are good, and that ereaders are bad. I randomly stumbled across this in the used book store; never had even heard of the author, but decided to give it a chance. Ended up really enjoying the book, one of the best I've read in a while.

Next in the queue: Humboldt's Gift, by Saul Bellow.

Just remembered, I read The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein recently too. Absolutely loved that book.
 
finally got around to reading lance's "it's not about the bike". a good read, even though i knew the ending...it was the first time i'd read someone's detailed account of battling cancer--pretty humbling.
 
Just finished The Gray Man by Mark Greaney, and before that The Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad and The Confession by John Grisham. I love listening via the "Audible" App on my iPhone!!!
 
Just finished To Have and Have Not. Getting started on Islands in the Stream. I've been on a Hemingway kick lately since I'm from Key West and everyone down there loves him so much, so I figured why not. I'm enjoying his work, but find some of the story lines a little disjointed. Maybe it's because he was a raging drunk.
