I just finished reading this and it is very good.
OUR POSTHUMAN FUTURE consequences of the biotechnology revolution
Francis Fukuyama.
Very interesting read, highly recommended from a book nut!Just thought I would share.

Sounds extremely deep.
Heres an Idea on what to expect
1) There is a saying that the discipline of economics makes progress one funeral at a time.

2) One might think colors would be a good candidates for social construction, since what we identify as "blue" and "red" are in fact just points along a continuous spectrum of light wavelengths. And yet, one anthropological study asked members of widely disparate cultures to place colors used by their societies within a color table; it turned out that people perceived the same primary and secondary colors across cultural boundaries.. This implies that there is something" hardwired" about color perception that is based on human biology, even if we do not know the specific genes or neurological structures that produce it.

I should have guessed you for literate, it is a unique group that thanks my musings.
My current recommendation is Starbucked which is a fascinating look at the science of capital. Careful though, it can be habit forming.......

Nietzsche here, one of my favs even thought he is, well kinda chauvinistic and some say Nazi supporter.

I can read beyond good and evil 1000 times and never have the same understanding

Cat's Cradle and Slaughterhouse-five are my favorite Vonnegut works. Too bad there won't be any more books from him... ya know, seeing as how he's dead and all.

Breakfast of Champions won me over. The others mentioned were good too. Even Time Quake. I just finished Player Piano like a month ago. It was hard to get into, but the ending was great.

I am more non-fiction but i am am reading Anne Rice The Mummy right now.All I can say is ramses kicks ass and Henry strafford needs to get shanked.

Anne Rice, Yikes. I've read comic books that have more literary value than her Homo erotic drivel.

If you like funny, please read Christopher Moore. I just finished Lamb: the Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal. Hilarious.

For fiction, I tend to stick with Stephen King. The Dark Tower series was amazing, albeit a touch long.

I'm currently reading a health book: Live to be 50, by Keith Richards i highly recommend it for you health nut types.
I tried reading: WARNING, by the Surgeon General IMHO it's rubbish.

Kurt Vonnegut chain smoked unfiltered Pall Malls like a chimney and he lived to the age of 84. :)
