Another Use for Lube

A couple weeks back a few friends and I came upon this lizard that was stuck inside a road signpost. I suggested putting some lube on him to lubricate his exit. A couple of the guys scoffed at me and said it would burn his skin.

A few drops later the little guy squirmed out...better to feel a little burn and be free than to be stuck in a signpost facing a slow death.


My friend Chip puts a few drops on our little buddy...


10 seconds later and a quick bath in Heed and he's free!

We were stopped at the top of the Waterworks Drop-In and queing up when my friend Chip noticed him wriggling to get out.

Nope. It's a "Horny Toad" (snicker, snicker). They used to be all over the place. VERY cool that you guys saved a "species of special concern they're WAAAAY prettier than bearded dragons.
