Jose, what's this ride like? How much of a climb? I'm trying to get back into riding shape so I don't want to bite off more than I can handle.

woo hoo i'll make it out there to meet you bubs, not sure if i will park at cook's since my car is extremely low and may get stuck in the dirt parking lot ](*,)

i'm probly gonna bring some of my usual riding buds along and a few of them have never done this entire loop so a slow pace would be good.

If we go to the end of the trail, its about 8 miles of climbing, generally with a mild grade. There are a couple of short steeper climbs, but they are not too bad. Its a fun ride, one of the most popular in Orange County.

Jose........

Can you please post your lawyers phone number? Dean is right, that was a real weak rr,bub!

Jose, Frank, Matt, Nam...Thanks for the ride. Here are a couple of pics.

I also have a video of Matt jumping the gap if I get creative I will find a website to post it.

Yep thats the one, a few hundred feet below the flag, were I took the pictures.

Matt seems to think it is easy, his statement after landing it was "how could you not make it!".

Sorry I did not know that was you, I would have stopped and said hello.

Thanks for a tour of "the Luge" guys. Jose, Matt, Dean, & Nam thanks for being patient and waiting for my slow butt. Dean, thanks for letting me try your 29'er. The geometry on the One9 feels excellent.

Maybe next time I'll have more stamina to do the Whitting loop too.
Good times today.
