The new AM/DH sled.

Just need 22x8 shock eyelet hardware and a front direct mount der. Probably will cop an x9/0 clutch rer derailleur then its ready to rip. got a coil shock on the way for 7-8" duty.

Just got it build 90% up. Since im still recovering from the knee destruction in Whistler it'll be a little time before Im really back on it.

Since no one seems interested in The One, I decided **** it im building it.

Very nice you will be stoked, I absolutely love my The ONE and ever since building my '11 i sold 3 of my bikes as i found my self riding it so much and sold all my bikes after building a '12 although i am currently building another Yelli Screamy for a "commuter" bike Haha

set it on the scale the other day with a lower roller assembly, still missing der cables, front der and shock hardware and it sits at just under 33 lbs with absolutely no attention paid to weight.

You can't go wrong with this frame. It can be run from 6"-8" basically a mini-dh that pedals to full DH with a fork/shock swap. Chris/Lance/Vin and Sean know what's up.

Very nice bike! I'm researching it also at the moment as I'm in the market for a new frame to replace my blur lt2 with something a bit more stout that can still climb well.

What trails do u plan on riding this rig on? Will it be too much (travel and weight) for our local trails like aliso (5 oaks, lynx, cholla), laguna ridge (emeralds, lizards, rattlesnake), stain ago oaks?

That bike should be perfect for the local trails you mention.. My CoilAir has 7 inches and weighs 36lbs and I hit all of those trails..

Congrats blackohio! Canfields are sick. Been riding them since 2007. I have a Lucky, an 08/09 Jedi, an 11 Jedi, and an 11 One. I guess I'm kind of a homer. Only Bullcrew would be a bigger homer.

I built my 11 One as my Snow Summit slayer since it would be light off enough to not get sweated for the weight and still ave 8 inches of travel. My 38.5 lb One is my "XC" rig. Didn't really care about lightening it up cause I wanted something that can pretty much mow anything...and it does. Being a 2011, the BB is pretty low and the HA is pretty slack. The 12/13 One's have steeper HA's and slightly higher BB's, which makes it better for AM. I actually prefer the 11 geo, but you do have to make compromises. I run it with a 66, 165 mm cranks, and a 1x9, so I'm not winning any XC races, but I'm cool with that. I run with a 32t chainring and an 11-38t cogset. Yes, 38t - I replaced the 34t to get the 38t to fit, so there's a jump in teeth, but it doesn't mess the shifting. I also run Minion DHF 3c's, so that's another thing that adds to the weight. Even with all this, I can still climb all the trails Stryker mentioned. It does take a bit of effort, and can hurt, but descending makes it all worth it.

I will agree though with others that posted dont weight weenie it out, your performance will suffer. First thing id do if it were mine is lose the air shocks and get coils

I had a vector r coil shipped but usps seems to have lost it and shipper didnt insure. So i've got that battle to fight. Im totally fine with the hlr air, I ran one on my remedy 9 up in the pnw and it was perfect. This one's a '10 model so its slack (as evidenced by the photo.)
