I've tried searching for reviews a few months back, but I couldn't really ever find anybody who rode one..

Just refreshed a Fuel EX8 over the weekend. I pretty much polished a turd. This bike climbs better than my 2011 Enduro did, but not nearly as nice on the descents. I just figured I would grab some decent components and swap frames in the near future.

Built DT Swiss EX500 wheels, Novatec Hubs, Continental Mountain King 2 Tires
Shimano XT Brakes with 203mm rotor up Front, 185mm in the rear
Shimano XT 2x10 Set Up
70mm Thomson Stem
Gravity Carbon Bars
Straitline Bash Guard

Only thing I need is a dropper seat post now, and a different frame.
