For my part, I spent a nice ride with my boyfriend and someone who was kind enough to be willing to drive *a long ass way* to ride with us, sight unseen.

Riding with a severe asthmatic takes infinite patience, and up until yesterday, the only person I'd ever ridden trails with is my boyfriend. (Who, as I've stated here, deserves the Infinite Patience Award). But Randy was cool and he said he didn't mind, so I told him to meet us out at Sycamore Canyon (Riverside).

Sure, riding with me takes some getting used to, but he was super cool and patient. I am sorry to say that I don't think a lot of y'all would have been as much, and not because you aren't nice people, but simply because most people just don't have the patience for it. You just have no idea what it entails. But Randy was willing and took a chance. He could have potentially had a really frustrating, shitty ride. But all 3 of us had an enjoyable time. He even gave me a hand when I took a drop too fast and ate dirt.

So I don't know what you're hating on, but honestly, he was pretty cool in my book. Even gave me some good riding advice which I took, and it worked great when I rode again this afternoon.

Don't be a hater, dude.

Not just some of my favorite posters, but some of my favorite people to ride with or even just hang out. All of them are fun/funny, positive, and generous, and I would never hesitate to ride with any of them. Truly as gracious off the trails as they are while on them.

For posts alone? Doughboy currently tops the list.

It's really easy. You know how when you go to someone's profile they have photo albums down the right side? Just click on "Show All Albums" and it will expand to a new page and show a list of all the person's photo albums. The one with the "shameless self-portraiture" of me is pretty obvious... probably because that is part of the title. Did I ever ask you if you ride with TDW? If you do, then you have possibly crossed paths (literally! ) with my boyfriend, LukeTrailrider who has been riding on and off with them for 2 years. Ran into some of them again on Saturday morning, actually. It seems to be a weekly thing with them and us.

Would love to meet you in person. I know 10 minutes is such a long drive and all....

This whole "fast and furious" thing seems to be a favorite choice of words in reference to me around here. Honestly, I don't do anything fast and furious... well, maybe sometimes, when the need calls for it. We are talking about riding, aren't we?

I do enjoy a good ride report with photos and video if possible... but nothing beats a good belly laugh - the pub RULES!

I've pretty muched enjoyed all the above mentioned posters, they all seem intelligent with a quick wit, however, I must say there's a frequent poster who has a quote by Margaret Thatcher (whom I can't stand) as a signature on all of his posts. It drives me CRAZY(sue) - I'll read a perfectly good post, then POW! Margaret ruins it for me. Any way, it's good to stir things up a bit even if it has nothing to do with mountain biking. But don't mind me, I'm pretty much a lefty in every sense, especially since I broke my right wrist.

One of the best things I read on STR was something Dirtvert wrote: (I think) "the problem with ignorance is you eventually run out of other people's ideas" :clap:
