So, I have been hurt just a few times in my kids life. Yesterday the decided to pay me back. Well kinda. So Mason my 7 year old wants to try out this big hill. I rode down it and hit 32 miles and our in a distance of about 40 yrds. So its pretty damn steep. Mason decides to give it a go. I decide to wait about 3/4 of the way down the hill just in case. I can see him up top contemplating the feat. Then I see him take his hands off the bar and smack himself in the head a few times, take a deep breath and bam. He gets about halfway down and I can see the fear on his face. He is totally out of control. So I clothes line him pretty much. Tried not to. He spun me around with all the force behind him. He falls in the grass unhurt as I get tangled in his bike and roll down the hill head over heals. Needless to say I got the short end of the stick. I could have only imagined how bad his crash would have been. Anyhow my older son Daven caught me of guard to. All I see is him hauling ass thinking " where is he going?" Holy crap, hes going to try that huge jump. Bigger than anything he has even come close to attempting. Needless to say, he crashed but not before he landed it. Rough day. They both scared the crap out of me. Now I know how they feel when I do dumb stuff.
