(R.I.P.) Lets Ride!!!!
So i rode today at the Fullerton Loop(5th ride) and was going on the fastest pace i have ever rode there, not getting off the bike to climb all the hills. Finally, i get a flat on one of the single tracks on a turn and my tire folds under and i eat it scraping my knee. This is teh 4th time getting a flat. This is the first time i actually crashed because of a flat..surprisingly im kinda sore too! :-s The flats are due to thorns. Am i just having bad luck with thorns or am i doing something wrong? My '91 Avalanche has a solid fork and am running the Kenda Smallblock 8's. I would suspect that it's the rigid fork, but i have also gotten a flat on the back tire as well. Any thoughts?
