Holy Jim/Trabuco loop Saturday 11/8

Last minute ride announcement -

I'll be riding Holy Jim/Trabuco loop Saturday 11/8 7:45 am rolling at 8:00 am. Here's the geoladders link of the route:http://www.geoladders.com//show_route.php?route=34

26.2 miles, 4240' elevation gain.

Moderate pace

For those that have never ridden this loop, it's one of my favorites in the Santa Ana's. It's not really newbie friendly but those with decent endurance and the ability to ride for 3 ~ 4 hrs should be fine.

Meet in the dirt parking at Trabuco Canyon Rd and Trabuco Creek Rd. I'll be in a silver Chevy Silverado, riding a white Turner 5 Spot.

I'd like to join you up Holy Jim , but I would have to turn back at Main divide, Since I'm super slow and I wouldn't want to slow you down since it took me over 5 hrs to do the Toad festival. Let me know if this is a problem.:beer:

I'll be there with Ryan W. We're prolly gonna head off at warp-speed, but it'd be nice to say "Hi" before we hit the trail. I'll be easy to spot in my UCSD colors.

We are heading up Trabuco in the morning. I was just told that the Saddleback Marathon will be going off tomorrow. You guys should miss them but I thought I'd put the word out for anyone else riding out there in the morning.

They are getting started at 8am. Here is the course from last year:

The ride was great! No camera today so I didn't bother to do a RR. Met up with Tortoise on HJ for a bit.

Perfect weather. Very clear, no wind, trails in great shape.
