I know...I'm late and off the back as usual
Along with Richard, there were a few other guys that were part of the Fully loop scene in the early 80's:
Dave Evans, Bob Nicholson, Steve & Bill Boehmke, Billy Broadfoot... I'm sure that I'm missing somebody#-o
Oh yeah! Bob Bacin...
I'll add to that list: Bob Scott, Ben ???, Ken Mathis (the water bottle guy) Chris (La Mirada Schwinn), Mark Grayson, Clay Trager, the Mcmahon brothers
I'll send a link to Nicholson and see if we can come up with some more names, I know I missed some
from Bob Nicholson:
"Hi Billy
That brings back a lot of memories. We sure had some fun times. I remember Dave and me going straight up the flood control wall plus doing the figure 8's. Going down the wall was scary, I always made sure my front brake was in great shape. Ken Mathis is behind me in the picture. Troy S, Larry and Ron M, and Chester H all rode the Fullerton loop."
this pic was from a story in O.C. Register, I'll find it and scan it
did someone mention the "missing out race" Jay sent me this a wile back
