email notification

I used to find it handy to receive email notifications for subscribed threads or for private messages. However, this feature hasn't been working for me for the better part of a year. I was hoping that it would just get fixed, but it hasn't. Can I get some help with this?

What I have heard is that when STR got hacked they were marked as spammers from all the big email providers. Now all the emails from STR get automatically deleted.

You can turn off notifications in Facebook settings.

I thought I did turn it off. It just started doing it last week out of no where.

same here, no email notifications, or private messages notifications ?

I turned it off on my computer and that worked but it seems when facebook updates the ap on my phone and tablet they it resets notifications backon.

That's certainly a plausible explanation, but I run my own domain and turned off all the spam filtering just to be sure.

maybe the email server for STR isn't configured correctly then...
