I'm heading to the Foes demo tomorrow and Cooks Corner. Whats the best way to get there from the 57. I've been told that chapman to Santiago Canyon. I'm just looking for confirmation that its the best.
Anyone have other ideas on quickest way to get there?

that's pretty much how I'd do it. from where you're at:

57S to 91E to 55S to Chapman L (east). continue following it. when you pass jamboree it turns into santiago canyon. follow it aways, and you'll eventually start pointing southish. cooks corner is on the left.

PS. drop me a line when you're heading back

That is really the only logical ( depending are where you are coming from) way, other than taking the 241 to Chapman and heading east. Turn left on live oak at the corner bar..

exit at chapman, take that east forever until it turns into Santiago (does so after crossing whatever freeway/toll road that is), follow that for 9-11 miles (well pass blackstar). When you get to a flashing yellow light you're there, can't miss it.

If you're taking the 55 south from the 91, this is a faster way.

Exit Katella, and head east. It'll change names a couple times (Villa Park Rd., etc.), but take it to the end @ Jamboree. Stay in the left most of the right turn lanes, and make the quick jog left onto Santiago Cyn Rd. Then resume the others' directions.

Taking Katella will save you numerous signals over Chapman, and you won't climb that big ass hill into Orange Park Acres (just to descend it again...wtf?) for nothing.
