I originally was going to choose the atlas am but I am thinking of going with either shimano slx or xt. Could anyone tell me the differences and what not? Thanks

do you ride or is this just market research?

most manufacturers cranks are just different flavors/colors whereas Shimano only builds quality, the low end works (nearly) as well as the high and is generally not only more serviceable but tends to be trouble free for miles to come.

I like XT, the new Deore has an integrated spider and the SLX is in the middle (but is available with a bash). Seriously though, this has been asked hundreds of times if you would just try using the search button:?:, how is the ridng in Maine?
