going i think. i've heard the course is fast fireroad decents, and lots of steep climbing.

Just took a look at the course layout, and looks like there will be two pretty tough climbs per lap. One is by the airport, not super steep, but lots of rocks. The other climb is a tough one, next to the 10 Fwy. There are some other climbs, but those are the tough ones. The descents are fast fireroads.

Looks like I'll be racing in beginner, first time racing on a mtn bike so I have no clue what to expect. I ran the course once a few days ago with some friends so I'm not to familar with it. I'll be on a white Cdale prophet and a Baja Junkies jersey :wave:

Wow, this place was packed this morning. Part of our course for our road ride went thru Bonelli and the place was packed to say the least. Really good turnout. Brndon I can't believe you didn't know about it as we seen a bunch of guys wearing Jensens jerseys and they looked familiar.

There is another Bonelli race on april 22nd. Its 1/3 mountain bike race, 1/3 swim and 1/3 running. Looks like it would be fun. It is the renegade off-road triathlon. 1/2 mile swim, 15 mile MTB and 3 mile trail run if anyone wants to test out their MTB racing along with some swimming and running.
