    I call her Slacky,
first impressions without a real trail ride.
    bombs my stairs well,
steering is noticably hard at slow speed, but as soon as its moving not a big deal
THE MAJOR ADVANTAGE OF A SLACK HARDTAIL
you can stand up and hammer with very little fork dive just awesome, hopefully it stops raining and i get to ride it soon

I was having headset issues, fixed them now the steering isnt so heavy withg weight on the bike and it feels like a hardtail DH bike, freaking awesome. if it ever stops raining I will get to take it up skyline and see how it handles, maybe do a video review

Maxwell rode his today. He was descending like a madman. That bike looked fun as heck. I might see if I can tool around on it during one of our next rides.

Yeah, I had a ball on mine today!
I swapped out the 70mm stem for a 90mm stem that I had, and what a difference it made!
I didn't feel cramped up at all on the climbs. In fact, I never even bothered to lower my fork.
And descending was just all out FUN! It's not going to replace my Dawg as my Super D bike, but I wouldn't hesitate to race on it.
    FUN bike for sure!

Hey folks. I just joined the Summer Season club this week!

    Bottom Bracket: 68mm English
    Front Derailler: 30.9 top pull

Also, be careful about facing the drive side of the bottom bracket. It has integrated chain guide mounts. My LBS faced it, shaving a circular indent where my bottom bracket fits snug. After seeing it, I'm not sure facing was even needed on that side, and I'm not sure the wrench even knew what he was looking at. He told me "I won't take too much material off this side because it has these things where you mount stuff". :-s???

Anyhow, everything fit nicely after I assembled it, but I won't know if it's okay till I've ridden a couple times. Now... Waiting for my brakes.

Mine wasn't faced out of the box, and there was tons of paint in BB shell and headtube.

good point dufusyeti...its better to buy an otherwise similar or less quality frame for 3 or 4 times this amount so you dont have to spend that extra 30 minutes :)

still waiting to hear...i am waiting to see if batch that came in yesterday are slotted versions
