I have a 100mm Rock Shox Judy 1" threadless fork if any one needs one. The steerer was cut pretty short but may work for someone. PM if anyone needs and it's yours.

I just finished building up a 1991 Mongoose IBOC steel frame with wishbone seatstays. This is the 3rd life for the bike. It was a gift to my dad for his birthday. It still has the original Deore DX front D and first generation XT V brakes.

The steerer may be worth more than the actual fork. You can cut a SID from it's crown and it will fit right into that Judy (pinchbolt style) crown. It's a great way to keep a good old 1" headtube bike going for years to come.

I also know where to find a brand new 1" uncut Judy crown/steerer, but have been sitting on it until I may need it. An LBS uses it to store their 1" spacers. "Bout shat myself when I saw it recently.

OK, my P.O.S. is an '89 Univega Range Rover 18. It came with some awesome Cheng Shin 26 x1.0 "Mountain Tires". We bought the his & hers so my wife could lose some pounds after our daughter was born (now 18 & in college). We rode around Puddingstone a few times but usually parked on Euclid and rode up to the Court House path and onto Laguna Lake.

I put it on a trainer for re-hab after both knee operations. Let's hope all I need to ride from now on is my Heckler!

    It even came with a kick-stand !

My 1993 Trek 820 rigid. It was my first "mountain bike" but I never got to enjoy it, since the day after I brought it home I got hit by a car riding it.

Last year I saw the frame with original fork, seatpost and stem on Ebay for $20. I got it for $30 shipped and built it up with spare parts as a sort of Nostalgia build.

I rarely ride it but it is neat to have. I've been meaning to put some nicer parts on it, but haven't gotten around to it yet. One of my favorite parts of the bike are the XTR shifters sitting next to the Promax V-Brake levers.

Here is my 1992/93 Trek 8700. Carbon main tubes and the rest aluminum. Original parts are seat post, deraillers, cranks, and headset. It was originally purple paint on the aluminum. Stripped it a few years ago. She is now my road bike with 1 inch specialized tires. I still have the Halson inverted fork that i swap out for nostalgia.

I'd give my left (you name it) appendage for that Yo Eddy Team triple butted cromo frame. The only frame I can think of that compares to the Yo Eddy was the Breezer Cloud 9.

Is the Haro Extreme the elevated chain stay version? If so, you just may have to tell me what it'll take to move that bike to my garage.

That Mantis is gorgeous. She'll make a great paper weight some day.

I sold it to a guy who collects carbon bikes. According to First Flight Bikes, there were probably less than 25 of those frames made and most went overseas, so there's only a handful in the US.

Don't see many Rissie Champs around any more.

One of my dreams is to be rich enuf to either start an MTB history museum or at least have a large room at my home to put old bikes in just to look at. My wish list would be:

    Breezer Cloud 9
Fat Chance Yo Eddy Team - green
    Mantis Pro Floater & XCR
Nishiki Alien - elevated chain stays
    Funk - elevated chain stays
Mtn Cycles San Andreas - the first year bike
    Ibis Szazbo - 1996
    Klien Attitude, Mantra, Adroit
    Mtn Goat Whiskey Town Racer
    American M-16
    Trimble Cross
    Manitou FS - 1995
Merlin - early 90's Ti frame
    Yeti Ultimate
    GT RTS carbon

I'm leaving out a ton of bikes but cant think of them now.

MAN! That list sure brought back memories! Made me all wistful.
My first bike was a 30 lb rigid $285 dollar Fuji Cadenza that took the most major beating from me for a few years. Downhill racing and XC. I kind of regret selling that bike. I'm a sentimental fool. My second bike you will appreciate! A 1990..maybe '91 7 speed Merlin! When 8 speed came out, I wanted that instead so I put the 8 speed XTR on and then everytime I got a rear flat, I had to bend the rear triangle outwards and someone had to take off the wheel. Got some serious bicep action going on back then! It was hard if I was alone. I think eventually the triangle stayed bent because the rear wheel got easier to remove over time. A long time! It has a Mcmahon rear brake and 110mm Ibis ti stem which I can't believe I used to ride with. The original Rock Shox with pink logo are hanging in the garage. The bike is now my trusty commute bike. Been riding to work since '97 and have only driven in about 6 times. I eventually upgraded to the Merlin HT some of you have seen and am now eyeing a Merlin 4.0 although I'm not sure about that yet! Once a Ti whore, always a Ti whore!

So here's a couple more pics of my old bike. Hope they uploaded properly!

Thanks for the pics down memory lane. I had forgotten those beautiful brakes. Those are the McMahons? Sweet ride.
