Ride Report Yet ANOTHER act of (STR) kindness......

Can someone pass me a tissue please? I can't stop crying. Well done Dino and the rest of you for making it happen. This kind of giving back is what it's all about. I've said it before, and I'll say it over and over again; Mountain bikers are some of the coolest people I know.

No, no, no, Mountain bikes are some of the coolest people we know.:clap::clap:

I've been a Member of MTBR for years and have ever seen anything like this, I'm glad I joined STR. The members are really great, and this just proved it. I was surprise to see Dino's first "secret" email, thought to myself that's the nicest and coolest email I've read that's bike related, no the coolest email I've read, period. :read: Cheers:beer:

Wow! I'm blown away by the kindness of the STR members that made this happen . It's great to know that people like this still exist. It's funny that JSD looked like he was in a trance while receiving a Trance. And who wouldn't be. What a great gift. Congratulations JSD.

Great job Dino! You are second to none! JSD, Enjoy the new ride! seeing you smile almost made me tear up. Almost! I think the wind blew something in my eye!

Very well done Dino and to all that contributed to make that happen. Never met the man but im sure its well deserved. Congrats JSD!

Maybe I am better off having not been there for the presentation. When I saw this post I got choked up. When I saw the footage I broke down and cried. I usually only cry when I miss my dog of 18yrs, my cat of 20yrs, MTV's Made and Pimp My Ride.

Well done STR. Well done :-)

What an awesome story. The STR family strikes again. Never met JSD, but I'm sure you're a cool cat to have influenced so many people. Congrats!

Dino and gang, you are all a shining light in the dark for many. I definitely teared up watching the videos. Thank you for not being ordinary.

JSD, hope you enjoy your new ride and sorry we couldn't be there as planned for the inaugural ride.

I'm sure he's a capable rider, but just remind him to train now and get some SUSTAINED climbs in cause if he is #3 on the waiting list, he'll get in! Good luck JSD

Dino, you and rest of the guys and gals rock ! This is one of the best random acts of kindness in the mountain biking
community I have ever heard about in Southern California .
You people of STR have great hearts .

I was trying to figure out how I missed the original thread - then realized it was during my move back home.

This is one of the greatest things I have ever read about! And nowing the folkls who made it happen makes it even more so.

Can't say enough to thank you folks enough for being the great people you are!

And JSD, it couldn't have happened to a nicer person- both the bike and the CC!

May you enjoy thousands of miles of goodness on your steed!
