The reason I ask is because it's going to be my first race and I'm looking for advice or anyone to show me how not to eat it! Any pseudo "big brother" programs out there for rookies? I'm only able to make it out there on Sunday unfortunately.

    Thanks Ross,

I'll be on a Olive Green Stinky with an Infiniti FX35 with a hitch rack on the back. See you there. BTW, are you really friends with Steve Peat, Eric Carter, and Brian Lopes? ;)

Hubby and I were thinking about heading out there on Sunday as well. Can you practice without racing at all during the weekend? I'd like to try it out, but we'll see what happens. We've never ridden either course (XC or DH) at Fontana.

    Would I survive on a 6" Enduro Expert? :)

That might be a problem! I have a blast riding that bike ;)

Thanks for the response. Hopefully we'll get to try our hands at racing DH. We finished CC, so now onto different things.

Forgot to mention that I raced an 06 Enduro with a stuck down DHX Air last year @ Fontucky for one race with no trouble.

The bottom bracket was incredibly low...DOH!

I love the minions, but I think all of their 2.35 tires went to single ply. I'd much rather have the weight than a flat.
