This may be old news, but I called Whiting and the message says they're open to all trail users. Happy New Year everyone!

Don't Panic!
I live near Whiting. When I drove by at 3:00 pm yesterday it was closed. At 7:00pm the closed signs were gone. I guess they took them down after sundown to be open today.

I live near Whiting too..gates closed yesterday, this morning drove by and they were OPEN with a couple rangers down in the parking lot. I'll be hitting it up tomorrow morning.
