Are we doing some picnic for supporters??
Thanks Chelle. Feeling pretty freaked 'bout my knee.
it's not the gearing ... it's my old, shot pedals. i put new pedals on though!
the knee started hurting when i started riding my geared bike ... cuz the geared bike had the shot pedals on it.
oh great. no pressure.i can't wait to chill with str ppl (especially sharky) after counting coup. my goal is to make it in before noon. plenty of time left to hang out!
extra motivation to finish the race as fast as possible!
ps - is it okay to just tell the volunteers i'm riding single-speed after the race? or should i tell them before?
thanks for picking it up keith. you're being too nice to your competitor.
I sprayed the back of your number with lead paint. I'd say it weighs about 23lbs.
When coming down Upper Holy Jim to Main Divide, you'll be turning right to get to Lower Holy Jim.
BTW: Upper Holy Jim is in great shape for a change. The ground is tacky from the rains and will be perfect coming VQ day.
Be sure and say howdy as you go by. I'll be working the bottom of Upper Holy Jim. I'll be the one cheering you guys onwards!
Be careful.... and enjoy the ride!
Old Man Riding.. well actually working VQ

In the past that part wasen't included was it? Didn't the route take us down the devide to lower HJ? I'm number 114 and with any luck you'll see me. :-k
