    Yes, Yes you can.

For myself, I will just sit in the corner for now. Some know my story. Persnally, I am feeling the urge to puke just thinking about how many push ups my smart alleck mouth got me.

For anyone who is enlisting. Couple things you dont want to do

    1. Understand that you belong to them when you sign up, not when you get off the bus. So the phrase, please stop yelling at least till I get off the bus.......Bad idea
    2. Dont show up with your head preshaved. Jsut trust me
    3. Top of the class, bottom of the class, your all the same. Best helps the worst, all or nothing. Dont go in thinking your something special because you can run faster.

    So................ Witha ll that.....SEMPER FI!!!

    Hi Gene....Small World!

I spent my entire childhood around P2's. Lived down the road from Cecil Field until moving here in the late 60's.

My father was with VP-7 at NAS Jax, and VAH-21 in Viet Nam

I did my duty in the 70's in the Coast Guard. 40' SAR boats in Long Beach, the Cutter Glacier in Alaska and Antarctica, and finished up as a recruiter in Long Beach.

If I could give each veteran "10 Thanks" I would!!! :)

How a person is able to read this thread and *NOT* hit the thanks (for sacrificing) button....
I just don't know how someone can do it!:?:

B&W is my Dad, of course he was in the wing and the color shot was a wild mess night after the Marine Ball. Two important things I'm the one w/o a drink and the t-shirt was from PI (need i say more? Nice spoof on the wing ). Pretty amazing how we grow up and look like our parents.

Hapy Birthday Marines! Semper Fi.

I dont remember the name, but Budweiser and this company would send us TONS of NON ALCOHOLIC beers. It tasted like CRAP, tasted like pure wheat and water. But being there long enough you needed to taste anything other than Gatorade and water. So we would try to choke down a few of these every now and then.

Nice!!!!! Seriously, thats a horrible suffering right there. You would hope that it would at least have alcohol in it if it tasted horrible.

There is the smallest amount of alcohol in there. Its called "near beer," and it isn't worth the trouble of drinking it.
