Got in a quick ride on Upper and Lower Winter Creek after work yesterday. While getting ready in the parking lot a guy rolled up on a beautiful lugged bike. Turns out it was made by Townsend Bikes in Monrovia, CA. This thing was nice! Really wish I knew of this guy before placing the order for my DeSalvo. Not that I'm disappointed in my choice, but it would have been cool to consider a local builder who is just down the road from me.
Not much on the site but something to consider if anyone is in the market for a custom lugged steel frame.
