What's up, riders!
I ride frequently around Topanga, the valley, and San Gabriels when I can make the time. I ride mainly single-speed MTB's lately, with 3 to choose from, all built up by yours truly. One is an aluminum Motobecane with vintage Bomber Z1CR fork, another is a Transition TransAM in steel with a Bomber 160mm fork, and a recently acquired Electra 29r cruiser rigid. I also have recently built a gravel-grinder bike of sorts that I've enjoyed taking on longer rides of asphalt and dirt. I have an '08 Specialized Enduro as well, but it's currently living in Colorado at a cousin's house, where it really gets put to task when I visit.
You're most likely to see me riding with the Topanga Creek Outpost group Saturday mornings, which I join every week if I'm in town. Otherwise I'm riding around Topanga State Park or Cheseboro Canyon for a workout. I love the pump track at Sapwi Park in Thousand Oaks, too. I've also joined the SCUMBAGS crew on some rides, and their Coasterbrake Challenge rides in Jan and July each year. Total insanity!
Lastly, I've got a single-speed track bike for urban hustle night rides around LA.
