I'm still thristy from doing it last May. Don't get me wrong. That was a crazy tough day out there. Though, I bet you I'm not alone when I say I will save my number and ribbon and my T-shirt from the Traverse 2008. It was really hard but felt really good to finish.

Rock on and good luck to those registering for 2009.

This is traditionally more difficult than the VQ, no?

I believe it should be a bit harder than CC, but not as difficult as VQ. It's just that the extreme heat last May was really really bad on race day.

Last year was brutal! I don't plan to do it for 2009. Main Divide was getting really boring. I found this race to be way more difficult than VQ as an endurance event just because the heat. Temps in the 100's were recorded.

It isn't IMHO, but the extreme heat this past event made it tough and I felt way more spent than I did after the VQ. I'm going to go for again. It will be my 3rd. #-o

I'm taking this year off of it. Just don't feel the drive to do another race in the spring after vq.

But good luck to everyone that does!
