Sorry to hear about the injury, Aaron. Heal-up quick. Two lessons here. First, "if you wanna to play, sometimes you gonna pay". Second, one always need enough speed to clear gaps on drops (or else...). I too have learned these things the hard way. #-o
Not sure what happened, but if the excavation to the left of the lower board is any indication, his speed looks to've been about perfect. Aim...not so much #-o
Aha... so I see. If that's the case, wider sheets of plywood (or yes, better aim) would seem to be the solution.
Chewy always has that! Heal up dude. Get that thing fixed and stop eating it. You know, you can always say "no" to the "fun". Maybe it becomes "no fun" that way but chances are you get to ride another day - soon. I wish you good news from the doc on Wed!
Bummer to hear about you being broken again chewy. Hope you're not off too long...sounds like it won't be TOO bad. Nice pick for healing beer too!
Awwww - bummer Chewy, but you're a youngster so you still heal quickly. See you asap!! Remember, Netflix is now your new best fiend, albeit temporary.
MRI, radiologist and my surgeon are all in same building. Put a rush on the radiologist so i could get my followup/prognosis same day and on to surgery asap. orthopaedic specialty institute http://www.orangeorthopaedics.com/ and my doc http://www.michaelshepardmd.com/
Good luck on the heal...and you can use that tube sling as part of you resistance training as you start PT...hey maybe you could market it.. Its a Sling...No Its a Resistance Band...No its Both!
Looks like your in good hands. I've had some pretty good surgeries on my knee and my ankle from that place. It sucks to be injured, but if I was injured bad enough I would go there again. Hope the MRI isn't too bad.
