The bike I was looking at was clearly priced the same as Specializes MSRP on their website. I asked the sales guy forget his name (not Nelson) if they could sell it any less and he said that he could not. I asked him if it would go on sale during the labor day sale and he said no. So we went elsewhere and got a better deal. More than anything my service experience left a bad taste in my mouth since it questioned my trust for your mechanic and shop. The reason for my post was to let others know of my negative experiences and was constructive criticism. Like you and I said no shop is perfect and I do not think one shop that has a thread on the bike shop reviews thread has 100% positive response rate. I appreciate bike owners who can come on here and explain their point of view since there is always two sides to the story. I would love this section if I owned a shop since you can get real world feedback that you probably would not get other wise. You also have the chance to address and correct any issues in your customers experiences.
