None the less its a Horrible situation, no matter what drove who to this state. Meds, Depression, not in the right state of mind, Laid off, wife and kids left me and lost my house- i find no humor in these cases and im sure no one here finds it to be funny! The world is not perfect and these incidents occur every day. I also would have mixed emotions to experience such catastrophic event.

"AND" Point im trying to make and this is me being honest as possible- Why the hell does this Thread Exist - Title in it self is disturbing. Not something i like to see Via STR.

    Again, sad and "disturbing"

    Mario-

graphic information...DO NOT READ IF YOU CANT HANDLE IT !!! Took a lot time to going over what happened...i was the hiker who found the body. Weird thing according to 911 operator, the person had called a few minutes before i called. i was coming up dreaded hill where it doglegs left and you can see the bench. no one was there and i thought it would be a good spot rest since i was sweating up a storm. when i hit the first peak before it drops a little then ascends to the bench, i saw someone there. i cursed to myself. i looked up and thought i saw him praying since he was on his knees with his backpack on the bench. i double curse myself and hope i didnt come across a person who wanted to preach the word to me. as i started to ascend, i noticed a trail of blood. not much but it was coming to the bench. i thought i saw a fishing pole and thought it was cool that there was a lake there that i didnt know of and was mad thinking he was cleaning a fish and it was fish blood that i saw. as i got closer...yeah...wasnt the case. i turned my cell on (only 5%) and called 911. went wide walking as far away from the bench as possible. 911 said they were looking for him and that he called claiming to hurt himself. i was like holy crap...looked for another person and found a biker at the trail sign at the bottom on the backside. called him up. meanwhile directed the airship to my location. told 911 that his wallet was open with a note hanging out. read off his name and 911 confirmed it was the guy they were looking for. he had jeans on and a gray construction logo print on the back of his shirt. weird things...i never heard a shot and i have been around guns most of my life. his shirt was dry but mine was a sweaty mess. he was slump over with his arm under his torso. And yes...hole in the back of his head. the gun was tied to one of the strap of the backpack with the slide open but was just a couple of inches off the ground. the biker finally got to the top and the airship was trying to find a place to land or drop an officer down for assistance. officer got there carrying a medical satchel, i informed him as he approached the body that there was a gun and he quickly dropped his bag and drew his weapon. he cleared the weapon and verified the person was deceased. two more officers arrived. took my statement and the bikers and escorted us down. one of my biggest thoughts was...glad the girlfriend and her kids were not with me that day. the two officers brought us down to their car and drove us to their mobile command center but first drove to the parking lot where the victims car was parked. it looked as if it was freshly detailed with the only dirt was on the tread of the tires. And yes...had me up for days. i looked for his name on the county coroners website for about a month and nothing showed up. not even as a john doe. the only thing on the net was this thread and a blog. i found the 911 call log.
