Alright everyone, it's back around to that time where Sram shows us what's up with their 2x10 kits. The event is going down this Friday, Nov. 11 from 9am-11pm at the Jenson USA, Riverside location. There will be a bunch of hot bikes with rad drivetrains.

Here's what you need to bring:
Riding gear, identification, matching bank card, pedals, shoes, helmet, and hydration. As always, if you need any of these things the store will be open for you to purchase them.

We'll post up here with more information on the event as the details arise. We look forward to riding with you.
Here are some pictures from last year's event. So much fun!

I know, right? Now, I'm going to try to ride bikes and surf. Rough day. Let's just hope the weather holds up.

Hhhmmm, with a son on his second deployment to Afghanistan, I'll be pushing to the flag - can we ride em in the afternoon?

The event goes until 4pm, but my guess is that bikes will be trickling in for a bit after that.

I recall some of their bikes being equipped with Mountain King tires last year. Probably the worst tires ever for SoCal dirt. If they only have a bike available in your size with MKs on it, you'll be getting some surfing done on the dirt too. :D Would love to demo with tires like Racing Ralphs or micro knobbies. I remember the Fuji demo coming equipped with some surprisingly grippy Hutchison micro knobbies. The Intense Spider 29 had some SB8s which were ok, except a little sketchy surfing ruts (it doesn't like to roll out of them, except at sharp angles closer to perpendicular). The lighter grippier tires will help support the claim that you can ride full time (inc climbs) in the big ring on a 2x10.

Will there be a small frame mtb with full Sram X0 2x10 in the demo fleet?

They will have 3 smalls equipped with X-O. They are full suspension bikes with between 140mm and 160mm of travel. The tires on these particular bikes are either Continentals Rubber Queen and Trail King or Specialized Butcher and Purgatory. They have a variety of Maxxis, Continental and Specialized tires on the fleet.
    I hope that this helps!
