I rolled out and took pictures, heckled, encouraged, and had fun. I've got pictures of most everyone that went down the expert course, so hit me up with a number and I'll get you a pic

Had a great time racing this weekend. Flatted at the start of my 3rd lap in XC, got 7th in Super D, and 9th in DH. It's definitely going to take some time to get my mental game back, I'm just really happy to be back on my bike!

Sweet course, super stoked during practice, clean race run all the way to the bottom rock section out of the double rut right hander and bam..... airborn off the bike. Not even really sure what happened, but I have a vision of the distance I had to fall straight on my head/neck/shoulder, which I'm sure will haunt my dreams for months lol! If anyone has pictures of 230G spanking the dirt at that bottom rock section, it would be cool to see what actually happened. I think my tire washed the berm but it happened so fast I'm not sure. :?::lol:

So, here's my little report. I ended up not racing, since I bumped my knee really good crashing yesterday. I don't have much of a stake in the overall, so no big deal. I do think I had a good chance of doing well on this track though. it felt good, it felt right, it felt fast. oh well, at least I don't have a concussion :?: :)

so I decided to camp out and take pictures and drink some rootbeer instead. Also had all sorts of fun yelling at everyone as they passed. We had a veritable symphony of cowbell's going on at the expert split, and it was good. still a good time even without the bike :bang:

Anyway, here's a few of my random favorites from the photos I took in no particular order.

    Nice pics Bry.

I don't have pics, but I have a quote from the drunk guys during the girls DH:

"Only use one finger, never use two!!"

I assume he was talking about brakes.:?:

    Honorable mention:

"Slow is hard, fast is easy."

My report goes a little something like this ...
    I am getting slower. ](*,)
I did not feel super fast up top but cleared everything cleanly with the exception of a couple spots I SHOULD have pedaled harder out of and through. I've got the motion back in the knee but the strength is a PITA to get back.

Well, two weeks to get a little more strength in the leg so I can pull off one hell of an upset in the finals:bang: :drunk:
Think I'll go give Amgen and Novartis a visit.
