    SD, I'm on a black Cannondale Synapse. My buddy on a light blue Rubaix towed us up the hill. Although you did finish 45 min ahead of me, leads me to believe it might not have been you, however, I rode good till about 65 or 70 then I kind of died out for a bit till the climbs. No matter, it was still a great day! Glad to be home and back on the fat tire bike though!

    For scenery it's hard to beat the Solvang Century. Fastest century I did was there (5:28 ) but with optimum conditions. It's really not a ride you want to rush through. I had my best time (meaning fun time) when we went with a big group and stayed together. When I rode down from WA and when I got to Solvang it felt like I'd finally made it home. I went into Solvang and left the coast at this point. I'm hoping to ride it next year.

    I just looked at this thread again and realized that I saw you at Johns Place on Saturday- my wife and I sat right next to you guys! :lol: Awesome looking bike by the way... I was checking it out the whole time.
