    I ride cuz it gives me an excuse to eat Mexican food and drink Mexican beer. Nothing goes better after an epic pedal session than a huge smothered verde chicken burrito washed down by an ice cold Pacifico with a lime wedge!:beer:

    i ride because its a vacation from work, school, and party mode. sometimes, i just need to escape the normal life life and enjoy the outdoors.

    i like riding because the chances of seeing a mountain lion
    is better outdoors than inside your house.

    I started mountain biking in '82 because I needed exercise, I got addicted to it and haven't stopped riding since. I have a lot of great memories of riding with friends that I'll never forget.

    :lol::lol: That somes it up perfectly for me too. It's a natural transition. I stepped away from biking for a number of years, but when I picked it up again, it was with a Freeride hardtail, now I'm looking to go full suspension. I live in the middle of LA, and getting out on the trails is the best way I can think of to get away from everything. Today was one of those days that I realized why I need to ride more, and that I'm happy I have that option. It was a shitty day...I overslept, missed work, have some serious finanicial decisions to make coming up....but just went and randomly found a trail this evening and blew off steam for a good hour. Nothing else get's my adreneline moving much anymore other than a good riding session.

    I ride because I replaced heavy drinking with riding so if I don't ride for a day (or two max) I want to kill people.


    Not that my riding is a problem or anything.
