Hopefully they are doing something about irrigation......while the pics look great....after a few weekends the trails will be nothing but silt and breaking bumps if they ignore the need for irrigation.

i would assume they just get cleaned up and the end or morning of every day. mammoth doesnt use irrigation, their dirt is worse than here by a long shot. i would suspect pavers in the highly eroded corners.
    BTW no braking! lol

BUSY! but they will have both chair 1 and 2 running that weekend to accomodate the crowds. first hand from pat.

I'd expect opening weekend to be pretty busy. But should be fun.

How about the other stuff like upper fallline, colin bailey, etc? We still get access to those? Hopefully so, as one 1 mile DH run could get really crowded otherwise...

Also, did the FS completely jack up upper fallline? Really annoying that they did that to Pirates...

Well, I haven't seen it so thanks.

I like the part where the one guy is riding the trail and then it shows them building one.

That Big Bear dirt looks the same as usual, dry and powdery. I fear the amount of upkeep that's gonna need, without armoring it, with so many riders raring to rip it up from a compacted and shaped state, to a loose and powdery state. If you ever seen trails after a race, imagine that kind of abuse in a more perpetual manner.

Sorry in advance for trying to be realistic, and smothering peoples' wishy-washy perspectives. Not trying to be offensive nor antagonistic.

Wooo, can't wait for opening weekend! Although, I'm kinda intimidated by the step up... Oh well, "To expand your comfort zone, you need to leave it"!
