    Updated

Latest changes to the Asylum... lost the Reba, BB7's, and Mary bars

    added:
    G2 F29 (switched to 100mm)
    08 XT Brakes
    Salsa Carbon 11* bar

Hopefully it'll improve handling and overall ride, around the block test was good.

    Hei Hei in the Sun

Turns out white and silver bikes don't photograph well in bright sun, but you'll get the idea.

Some shots of my Unit 2-9.

Still have the stock 32-18 gearing & added the carbon fork. Sprained the hell out of my wrist a few weeks ago at Chino Hills, so I have not been on it much since then. The full squish has been getting some love...but the wrist is feeling much better.

Bring on the weekend, I miss riding the SS!

It's still the stock O/S Easton EA30 stem. I think it's the 90mm. Not sure what the rise is, but it's not much. Cheapo, but I've never had to think about it & that counts for something with me.

The odd attachment on the stem is just my commuter light; I ride the 29er into my classroom once a week or so. I like knowing that the crazy parents who are simultaneousy dropping their kids off, putting on makeup, texting & eating a bagel can see me. I'm not a weight weenie, so I don't bother to take the light off when I take the 29er out on the trails.

Short of the fork, rotors, pedals & handlebar everything is stock.
