Shaving your legs?

Those times still aren't posted from Mt. SAC, are they? Hmmmm, it will be fun once they're up.:wave:

 

As your sports physician I'd say 28 of those 30seconds were down to leg hair air resistance. From now on you bath in hair removing cream for 2hrs every day and practise in a wind tunnel.

 

If you want to try it, go for it. It's getting colder, right, so if you feel weird at school just wear jeans. It'll grow back, the same as it was before.

FWIW, I shave my arms also.

oh OT. Figured out the bleeding of the Avids. Your right it was easy once you got it figured out.

However the Avids web site isntructions could be better. Need to run to The Path today and pick up some more line fitings. One of the hoses has a pin hole leak#-o

 

Glad the brakes are workin for ya. Yea the bleeding is prety easy.I did not know about the pinhole:?:. We need to meet up and ride!

Seems like too much work if you ask me. I shave my head every 2 weeks so I have no hair to do every other day. Shaving my legs would just be a pain in the ass. To each his own.

 

who needs an excuse?! i shave everything. yes, even my arm pits! i just dont like hair. the only things i dont shave are my eyebrows and head(although i try to keep my head hair less than 1/4".) like a month or so ago, i went full blown hairy for like a month, and i was so itchy i couldnt stop scratching. so for me, aesthetics (makes legs look sweeeet) and comfort (no itchy)... i havent had anyone ever bring it up with me, except for a few girls who thought it was awesome. i dont know what i would do if someone talked trash... id probably ask them if they have ever gotten their week ruined by a man who shaves.

p.s. i've only picked up ticks once...at Aliso...wearing baggies...i've been unscathed by ticks since defending myself with lycra.
p.s.s. I shaved my arms once in 2003....what a sweaty nightmare. turns out, arm hair acts like tiny waterbars channeling sweat off my arms. without the hair, my gloves were wringing wet in 30 minutes of riding....

Wouldn't hurt. Actually I'm pretty paranoid and try to avoid touching anything green. Aliso and Whiting are/were the worst offenders...so I spend most of my time above the Oak in the Santa Ana's...Joplin is also a nasty PO location.
