Hi all. Anyone in the San Fernando Valley up for some mid-week road rides? I'm not an early morning person but I've got lots a free time lately. I'll ride anywhere, including the Santa Monicas, the West Side, Pasadena, San Gab's and I've got a pretty good Griffth Park loop from Studio City.

    That's because you suck. ;)

I'm going through a slight case of dirt burnout but lets hit some trails later this week, eh?

you need to hit some new dirt then, that happens to me a lot in the SM's.

i might be heading out to AZ for spring fling later in the week, if not I'm down.

Endo_Verendo, Welcome to STR. I remember your handle from MTBR. I'm live and work in Pas. My office is in Old Pasadena. Now that DST has brought us enough light for after work rides I would like to try and get out one a week for a mid week ride: road or dirt.

Got the road bike in December so I haven't done after work road rides yet. I suspect I will hit the Bowl for a few loops (~3) and then climb some of the hill around the Bowl.

For dirt rides Brown Mountain to El Prieto is a very popular after work ride. Another one is La Tuna Canyon.

Check out Over The Bars and Epic Riders for week day rides. Both groups ride frequently after work.

Hey Ron, how's it going? Haven't seen you in a while. I don't get over to the westside much, even for the rides in the dirt, but we do a lot over here if you're interested I'll shoot you an invite in a couple of weeks.(I'm doing the Spring Fling too) Most of our rides are on the longer side as most of us are training for double centuries. The pace is slow, but the miles are long. Averaging about 18 mph on the flats.

Ron, - I'm West Side, and riding both road and dirt. Drop a line if you want meet up for rides. I've got a busy but relatively flexible work schedule so I'm open for mid-day rides every now and again. And I always ride mtn Wed. night (see Calendar). - 0
