Out on the Road
So I'm back in OC for a day before heading back out on the road.

I need some supplies (tires for one and I'm sick of hitting every bike shop in a state to find what I need). The Path needs to be nationwide for us travelers.

While I'm home I decide to hit one of my favorite trails that I haven't been on in over a year. Whiting/Old Camp/Luge.

All is going well, Mustard is as fun as always, STT seems smoother than before but is still good.

I get to what was the rocky section about a mile after the Luge, come around a corner and there is a kid in a SUV coming down the trail. Apparently he managed to get up Cadillac and decided to do a little exploring.

I made him put it in reverse and back up about a 1/2 mile back to the first section wide enough for him to turn around. Funny how those STR jersey's almost make you look like you're some kind of official.

Finished off the climb to Old Camp and the ride down Luge.

Great job on all the trails WS. STT has always been a fast DH, now you can really let it out since there aren't as many blind corners. Luge is dusty but still great.

Fun ride. No pics of the offender but I've got his License Plate #. I don't think he'll be back anyway.

Can I get my junior Trail Ranger badge now?

Yep there is a work around at the bottom of Cadillac big enough to get a 4-wheel drive through, lots of truck tire tracks on lower Cadillac. Also someone in a 4-wheel drive ripped the barrier out of the ground on Main Divide near Cadillac. Cadillac is as loose mess quads will help pack it in.
