Rock/Metal?

Nowadays I've mellowed out a bit and listen to lots of reggae, bluegrass, roots, etc. but I can and do appreciate all sorts of tunes, whatever the genera. I've lived in a few different places so those flavors have found there way into my head....:beer:

i remember when Anthrax was about to play back in the days and everone was shouting S.O.D ... anyone been to Fenders ball room? i used to go to gigs there all the time !! saw D.R.I. about 5 times
Celtic Frost,Cryptic Slauter and many more .

 

I used to bounce at Fender's. It was speed metal one night, punk the next.
It was a great job for seeing bands for free - Gwar, D.R.I., X, MDC, D.I.
Pre-1st album GnR (when they were hungry and amazing) opening for Cheap Trick.
Motorhead played and we received over 50 noise complaints from the Hyatt across the street during their sound-check alone.

Is this the same Fenders that was in Long Beach that burned down around 92'?

 

thats cool bro ! i also saw MDC and Motorhead at fenders :bang: i used to like hanging off the front speakers :lol: but not flipping off that woodend beam like some other crazy heads ! peace out.
