Ending up doing the SD Century solo. was a B E A UTIFUL day today. It was my first time taking Genesee Ave. into San Diego... Lord almighty what a climb fest, if you want to really earn your entrance into DTSD, take that route.. hitting that section after Torrey Pines, AND already past the 95mi. mark... those will be the longest 10-15 miles of your life to the end. I was cheering my ass off after I saw Linda Vista to turn off that forsaken road. But... would do again! It hurt so good.. ended up having just over 6 hours of moving time, but for not having anyone to work with and the fact I got lost riding in circles for ~30 minutes trying to find a shortcut for the last 5 miles.. I could've probably done it in 5 hours.. better than my last centuries never the less /cheer!

Congrats. My dad and I did the century from Anahiem to San Diego on a Tandem back in the late 80s. Great memories. Thanks for sharing.
