Sorry to hear this, Steve was a great guy. I know that his background was in music and his love was bicycles...he did my bike fits on both road and mountain bikes, I've never had a problem after his fitting sessions. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and employees. God speed Steve.

Sad to hear. A real loss to anyone who knew him.

    Just received this email:

    PVBC Update and RIDE

Thank you for all of your amazing support.

Tomorrow, Saturday January 5th, a ride has been organized in memory of Steve Bowen. This is not the official shop memorial ride, but still a great ride if anyone would like to join. The ride starts at 8:00am at the Starbucks in Riviera Village. The ride has been described as a "conversational pace" through Palos Verdes to climb Palos Verdes East. We apologize for the last minute notice. An official Steve Bowen Memorial Shop Ride will take place down the road with plenty of notice.

    Shop Update:
We appreciate everyone's patience as we transition into new ownership. The process has been difficult and we are still waiting to hear more as to when we will re-open the shop. Our fingers are crossed that it will be very soon! We are anxious to get back to serving you and spreading Steve's passion of cycling. We will keep you updated as soon as we hear more.

    Memorial Service:
A memorial service has not yet been set by the family. There was a funeral last Friday in his home town. As soon as the family has more information about a Service we will be sure to pass it on.

Thank you again for your patience. Continue to look for updates via email or our Facebook page. As soon as we get more information, we will be sure to let you all know!

Please do not respond to this email as all replies will be sent to an unread mailbox.
