Ring gear life

Kind of curious how many miles some of the hard core riders that climb in their middle ring get out of a set of chain rings.

What do you weigh, where do you ride, and what kind of miles do you get on your chain, cassette and ring gears.

Reason I ask is because I didn't quite get 700 miles out of my 32t ring gear on my new Tru Vativ Stylo 3.3 cranks on my Niner. I went about 2000 on my Bionicon Edison .

Already ordered a steel set from Jensen, small and middle. :thumbsup

Was wondering if I'm just getting a better base, or if Tru Vativ got a new sub contractor that's buying poor quality aluminum for it's ring gears. 32 tooth is stamped 3608, probably 36th week of 2008 manufacture.
