    It was a great race. I had two goals...finish and ride the whole thing. I pretty much acomplished both. There were two sections I walked and mostly cuz everyone else was walking it. I'm happy with my time as I beat what I thought I'd do by about 10 minutes. I hope to make a couple more of the races.

    It was great to see everyone and congrats to all who competed.

    Who was out there rocking the STR Dirty Girls jersey? I was gonna say hi but got distracted by the start!

    Just plain fun. My second ever race. First was Idyllwild a couple weeks ago. Finished 11 out of 33 sport greybeards. My son, 10, wants to race. Pedaling with him is probably more important than my series goals.

    Unless you are geared super low...it SUCKS.

    Greg, you'd need to swap your rear cog for a 16 or 17...which would mean a shorter chain.
