How do you like it? I've seen those for a couple years, and always wondered how they performed. Are they as flexy as Moto Al-alloy frames? (I speak from experience on this.)

I actually like the bike a lot and for the price I just couldn't beat it. I can't compare it to their alloy frames since I've never ridden one. I would have to assume that it would have to be though since aluminum hard tails are typically pretty stiff. Though it can feel a little noodley I can totally live with it. I can actually climb a lot faster on it and the descents I'm only marginally slower than on my full squish bikes as long as the trail isn't too technical. In all honesty I wanted a hardtail that was more forgiving than the hardtails I've had in the past, one that wouldn't beat me up.
BTW, I was just looking at my Strava account and noticed that I put more miles on my Morebacon than on any other one of my other bikes.

So after waiting for my back to heal for 2ish years... I said to hell with it and just bought a bike to start riding again. It appears I'm in it for the long haul on the back pain so I might as well have some fun while i'm haulin.

New steed... Kona Taro size L. Going to be modifying this one part at a time. So far I've gone with a 28t spiderless chain ring and xt m775 brakes. A few other bits as well.

It's good to be back on STR with a purpose.
